Tecno Introduces New Phone Series – The Tecno SPARK

Tecno mobile is well known for their fast moving smartphone series ranging from Tecno Phantom, Tecno Boom J for the music lovers, Tecno Camon series for lovers of good phone photography and

Yesterday, Tecno announced yet another series – the Tecno Spark and Tecno Spark Plus. This series goes to the midrange market and Tecno promises that the phone will exceed your expectations without breaking your wallet.

What new does Tecno Flash promise?

A 12.5% increase in screen brightness and what Tecno is calling the IPS HD screen. This has been termed as the sunshine screen and I hope this means the phone will be clearer in outside light.

Mix Flash – Thought the camera MPs are not high compared to the Camon series, this mix flash feature combines front flash and screen flash and the effect of this is 50% purer images and balanced colours. The phones comes with a 5MP front and 13MP rear camera with 5P optical lens.

It seems the phone’s selling point is based around lighting and imaging. The phones for example also come with dynamic Brightness Recognition whereby it will automatically recognize dim lighting and provide automatic white balance. Users are therefore able to get the most realistic images in poor lighting.

Tecno promises that portrait photography will get better with Face Recognition. It will be able to highlight facial details so that even features like skin look clearer.

Besides to those optimization features regarding flash and camera, TECNO SPARK and SPARK Plus also offer other innovative features including: Fingerprint snapshots which enable you to enjoy one-hand operation; 120-degree wide-angle selfie panorama camera mode and 1:1 square ratio photo making it super easy sharing your best photos to Instagram.

Some more features of the Tecno Spark include a 3000mAh battery, Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The Spark Plus comes with a screen of 6.0” HD screen, 16GB ROM, 2GB RAM and a 3400mAh battery.

We’ll get more details and complete review when we get hold of the phone.
