Demand For Africa’s Tallest Building – Pinnacle Towers – Growing Fast

Africa and especially Nairobi is growing in leaps and bounds in terms of property and there seems to be no end to this. As we look forward to the construction of Africa’s tallest building – The Pinnacle – in Upper Hill Nairobi, the number of local and international investors looking to invest in the project is growing as the project takes shape.

The project has attracted a huge number from investors, many of whom are looking for a certain level of luxury and technology and given the advancements in the property scene over the years, there is no doubt that this will certainly be made possible by the developers. The project worth USD200 Million has ultra-modern features which will include water management through recycling and harvesting, and an energy management mechanism.

Pinnacle has the Gold LEED certification which will ensure that tenants at the development will experience a healthier indoor environment for their employees and tenants, and will certainly keep the environment in mind.

Pinnacle Towers which will be at the fast growing Upper Hill area in Nairobi promises a mix of distinctive architectural design, and indulgent luxury for those who will be using it. Upper Hill is fast transforming into a financial and business hub in the city.

There has been so much demand in Pinnacle towers which is expected to be completed in 2021 that the developers have had to turn down some investors. “We’ve had more demand than challenges and we have received a lot more interests from investors some of whom we have turned down,” said Mr. Mokase Monono – the Operations and Project Manager.

Backed by the Dubai-based project developers, White Lotus Group and Hass Petroleum of Nairobi, Pinnacle consists of two adjacent towers. The shorter tower, at 45 floors will house the 255-room, five-star Upper Hill Hilton Hotel, the third Hilton franchise in Nairobi and the 50th on the African continent. The taller tower, with 70 floors, will feature eleven floors of commercial office space, nine floors of upscale rental retail space and 209 upscale 1, 2 and 3-bedroom, serviced residential apartments.   Other amenities include conference facilities, a gymnasium, luxury spa and an infinity pool. The taller tower will have a roof-top helipad.
