Communication Authority will tomorrow be holding a public forum at Embu University grounds where residents are encouraged to show up and have a say on what the authority is doing, and what it plans to do in future.
In attendance will be Governor Martin Wambora and his Government, as well as other stakeholders in the communication field.
Kikao Kikuu is an initiative whereby CA visits counties to educate residents on crucial matters to do with communication, to celebrate milestones and to map out future plans. Locals are able to air their views on what they feel is being done, and also where they feel improvements should be made.
Embu’s Kikao Kikuu is operating under the theme “ICT as an enabler of opportunities” and indeed the role of ICT cannot be ignored in its role towards unleashing the huge potential that Embu, as well as other counties have.
As per the county’s website, “Embu County is truly ‘The Land of Opportunities’. As this slogan indicates, opportunities for entrepreneurship, investment, employment and self improvement are plentiful in the land. The government has taken great strides towards the betterment of people’s livelihoods and the realization of the president’s Big4 Agenda. In addition to the Agenda 4 pillars of Affordable Healthcare, Food Security, Affordable Housing and Manufacturing, Embu governor H.E Martin Wambora has seen to the practicability of two additional pillars namely; Youth Empowerment and Industrialization, to form his Big 6 Agenda. Embu County Government continues to work day and night towards the achievement of these objectives, and the satisfaction of residents, investors, tourists and all stake holders in general.”
Be there and participate in the lifting of your county to greater heights.
