There are now two new Nokia phones in the entry level category – the Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 2.4. Nokia has also announced the global launch of the Nokia 8.3 5G as well as a host of accessories to go along with the phones, as well as HMD Connect Pro offering enterprises a secure and transparent global data roaming service. 

Nokia 2.4

This phone features a 6.5” HD+ screen and a battery that promises 2 days between charges. The Nokia 2.4 also comes with the Android promise, giving users three years of monthly security updates and two years of OS updates, meaning it’s ready for Android 11 and 12. It also features AI imaging, finger print scanner and face unlock for access and added security.

This one will go for between Ksh 14,000/- for 2/32GB and Ksh 15,500 for 6/64GB.

Nokia 3.4

This 6.39” HD+ screen smartphone has a premium design that comes in three new Nordic inspired colours. It also comes with comes with Android 10 OS and the Nokia smartphone Android promise, receiving years of security and software upgrades. Users will also get to enjoy a rear camera with an ultra-wide lens and AI imaging and a punch-hole front camera.

All this of course with the signature two-day battery life. The phone will retail for Ksh18,000/-.

Accessories

Also launching today is a range of new Nokia-branded audio accessories featuring the Nokia Earbuds Lite, and a brand-new Nokia Portable Wireless Speaker with integrated microphone – the first in the portfolio – and new protective cases. The new accessories are all wrapped up in sustainable packaging made from 100% recyclable paper, taking the company one step closer towards reducing the environmental impact of its business and products.

Nokia Power Earbuds Lite

The Earbuds Lite are of a design that is comfortable to wear and are quite the companion as they will give users 35 hours of play time. They are perfect for the gym as they are waterproof upto 1 meter for 30 minutes. The 6mm graphene speaker drivers give you clear-cut sound.

The original Nokia Power Earbuds are being refreshed with two new colours – Polar Night, inspired by the Nokia 8.3 5G, and a fresh new colour – Mint.

Nokia Portable Wireless Speaker

The wireless speaker will give 4 hours of play time. It has an integrated microphone and so in these days when we are working more and more away from each other, group calls will be a breeze. You can also pair two speakers for high quality stereo audio output. The speaker also has universal Bluetooth compatibility so it can be connected with other devices that users may have, and not necessarily Nokia.

Nokia also officially announced the start of the global sales for the Nokia 8.3 5G. The Nokia 8.3 5G is the smartphone of choice by the newest 00 agent in the upcoming James Bond movie No Time To Die, premiering this November.  It is also designed to support 5G network. Additionally, all Nokia 8.3 5G owners will receive a free 6-month trial of Google One. It comes with a price tag of Ksh 69,000/-
