OPPO To Kick Off A Campaign To Encourage Domestic Travel

by Femme Staff

A few weeks ago, OPPO started unveiled the OPPO Reno 4 into the Kenyan market, along with the OPPO watch. These gadgets are already selling in OPPO stores and authorized dealers with the phone going for Ksh39,000/- and the watch going for Ksh23,999/-

Reno 4 is dubbed the Fashionable Image Master and along with this, OPPO Kenya has kicked off a campaign to showcase the country and promote domestic tourism through travel photography. This is perfect timing as the hospitality industry is just picking up after taking a huge blow due to the pandemic.

The campaign is working with brand ambassadors Avril and Pascal Tokodi who will take a 7-day trip around the country in partnership with Sarova Hotels and Kenya Bush Track Safaris and document and their experiences. As part of the trip, the duo will take part in different excursions and visits to key destinations in Nairobi, Nakuru, Meru, and Mombasa to showcase the OPPO Reno 4 photography and videography capabilities, and also interact with OPPO customers in counties visited.

“We are proud to engage our O-stars, Avril & Pascal, for this tour to explore our magical Kenya as an opportunity to enhance the brand visibility in different regions across the country.”

Muthoni Wachira – Head of Communications & Projects – OPPO Kenya.

With OPPO Reno’s superior photography features, I can see how it is a good fit for traveling and capturing awesome images of our country and I can’t to see the pics that come out of this campaign.

The Reno4 strikes a delicate balance between a slim and sleek design. Equipped with a 6.4-inch Dual Punch-hole Display, Reno4 comes in at 7.7mm thick so that it fits in the hand and pocket easily, while it’s lightweight at 165g, ensuring that your hand won’t be fatigued while holding it.

The device comes with two colors: Galactic Blue and Space Black. OPPO has also introduced ‘Reno Glow’, a back cover design that combines a matte finger print resistant texture with subtle glittery details. This gives the Galactic Blue phone a more vibrant glossier look.

With fitness a growing interest in the country, the 41mm version of the OPPO Watch launched into the market at time when there has been an uptake in adopting healthier lifestyles especially after Kenyans started working from their homes to minimise the risk contracting Covid-19.

The smartwatch is currently available in Black, giving the user, not only value for their money but an additional aesthetic whenever it is on their wrist.
