As Carrefour continues to cement it’s footprints in the country, the store has now opened its first store in Mombasa. This is the ninth store countrywide and is located at City Mall in Nyali.
The new store has over 2,000 square meters of selling area and will be stocking a large variety of products to address the immediate needs of people in Mombasa and the surroundings. These products are such as non-food and electronics, and there is also a fresh fishery, butchery, and a deli.
Other than improving the economic outlook of the city of Mombasa, the new branch at the will also create both direct and indirect job opportunities for Kenyans by employing 190 people, including a dedicated Mombasa customer service team to assist in resolving any issues.

True to its ambition to lead digital innovation in grocery retail, Carrefour Kenya also provides on-demand delivery services from its Nyali store through its partners Jumia Food and Glovo. The service allows customers to order from the comfort of their home and enjoy Carrefour quality and low prices delivered right to their doorstep.
Carrefour already operates eight stores in Nairobi, with plans to open an additional two stores in the Coastal region at the Diani Centre Point Plaza and Shanzu Mall.
