An Introduction To The Nokia C Series

In April this year, HMD Global ushered in six new Nokia phones into the market. The phones are in G Series, X Series, and C Series. For now, and for purposes of this article and others to follow, we shall focus on the Nokia C Series which comes in C10 and C20.

The two phones have a few similarities here and there, but they are apart all the same. For example, they both use the Unisoc processors, though the C20 uses SC9863a, and C10 has SC7331e. Both models have RAM of either 1GB or 2GB, and 16GB and 32GB ROM. They both also have a MicroSD slot to expand to expand storage to 256GB. The phones have a screen of 6.52 Inches and a resolution of 720 Pixels, plus a Panda Glass layer for screen safety.

As for the cameras, the phones both have LED flash, 5MP front camera and 5MP rear camera.

The Nokia C10 and C20 both run on Android 11 Go Edition, and this comes with the Nokia security promise of two years of quarterly updates. The phones have a 3000 mAh battery and 5W chargers.

Some of the differences that I have been able to pick already and which I’ll expound on as I do comprehensive reviews of the phones are such as the different colours. Nokia C10 comes in Grey and a beautiful light purple, while Nokia C20 is in Dark Blue and the unique Sand colour.

There is also a difference in connectivity, with Nokia C20 having 4G LTE and C10 has 3G.

As mentioned earlier, we have the two phones with us and we’ll be reviewing them in detail once we have used them. All in all, both have the assurance of strong build for durability, sleek Nordic design, prolonged battery live that users will love, and they have top notch safety so users can trust the brand.

The costs for the C10 series are Ksh8,900/- for the C10 and 11,490 for C20. Prices for other series are Ksh14,990/- for the G10, Ksh18,900/- for the G20, Ksh34,000/- for X10 and Ksh40,900/- for the X20.

Keep it here for the reviews of the C series.
