Infinix First 5G Phone – The Infinix Zero 5G

by Femme Staff

Infinix Mobility is welcoming its first 5G phone into the family with the launch of Infinix Zero 5G. Other than 5G, the phone comes with the trappings of a modern device, including powerful performance, a good camera system, and a beautiful design. All these qualities will appeal to the target market for that range of phones, which is young adults and emerging professionals.

As we are well aware by now, 5G technology comes with seamless connections, faster downloads, and speeds that the world has not witnessed before. To match with the other modern technologies in the phone, Infinix Zero 5G is powered by the high performance Media Tek Dimensity 900 master processor. This coupled with 128GB ROM and 8GB RAM gives the phone enough power to run apps without hanging and glitching, and to run them very fast and simultaneously for multi taskers. RAM can be extended by 3.

With that storage, users can be assured that they will not run out of space for their photos and videos any time soon. All these features are encased in a futuristic Uni-Curve design that is easy on the eye and on the hands too for handling. What is Uni-Curve? A thin softly curved design that keeps the body of the phone thin and light and gives the phone good ergonomic grip. Infinix uses soft materials that look and feel like glass, giving the phone a premium look.

The ZERO 5G was designed with the “less is more” approach in mind, delivering a large 6.78” FHD+ ultra-smooth display with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. From the curved back of the device to the specifically chosen color variety, the ZERO 5G was designed to look and feel like the smartphone of the future.

And what would such a phone be without a good battery and good charging system? The Infinix Zero 5G comes with a massive 5000 mAh battery, supported by a 33W fast charger. This fast-charge technology enables users to fully charge their phones by the time they take a shower and get ready for the day for instance. That is how practical a fast charger gets in people’s day to day lives. Still on the charging system, the device is equipped with TÜV Rheinland safe fast-charge technology, which automatically shuts off power when the smartphone reaches a full charge. This protects the battery from damage and therefore prolongs its life. A full charge will give a user 9.4 hours of gaming, 27 days on standby, 22 hours of calling and 152 hours of music playback.

The cameras do not disappoint either. The main camera is 48MP with 30X ultra zoom, portrait camera is 13MP and there is a 2MP virtual camera. The camera also features a Golden Portrait focal section, which is equivalent to a 50mm professional portrait lens and 2X optical zoom, providing balance and depth to users’ images. The Pro Night Style feature allows users to capture different types of night photos in the same environment. The rear camera is seamlessly blended into the back cover using a volcano-like camera bump to continue the curved design and remove and harsh and irregular design curves.

The device comes in Cosmic black, Skylight orange and Horizon blue. This range of colours covers everyone, from those who want an bright vibrant phone to those who prefer something more muted and those who prefer a completely dark colour.

The phone comes with Android XOS which gives users many options for phone use. For instance, users are also able to organize their apps with just one click with the X-Folder, which offers a 3+1 mode, linear or grid style layout for increased efficiency. Making the experience even smarter, XOS 10 includes the X-Assistant, a smart assistant that intelligently sends reminders, notifications and shares information.
