Caetano Kenya Donates A Fully Equipped Ambulance To NMS

Caetano Kenya, the official dealer of Hyundai Passenger Motor Vehicles in Kenya, donated a fully equipped Hyundai ambulance to NMS. The ambulance will be an addition to NMS services covering Mama Lucy and its environs. The company presented the ambulance together with 500 pieces of certified full medical protective coveralls to ensure protection of the health workers in the course of their work and over 3300 pieces of comfort & face guard masks for face protection. The ambulance and medical gear were received by Maj. Gen. Mohammed Badi, Director General NMS as the part of the Nurse International Day Celebration at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital.

Speaking during the handover, Mr. Pedro Campos, Caetano Managing Director said, “This is a very important moment for us as we continue our efforts to give to the community. Our first initiative in the country was to open Hyundai Dream Centre at NITA School where youth can get certified training in mechanics. This donation is the second major project we have engaged in, where we have given a fully equipped Hyundai ambulance and medical gear to NMS, in line with our efforts to support the community we are operating in.”

Caetano is committed to bettering and empowering the community and through the Hyundai Dream Center Kenya they offer automotive vocational training for underserved youths equipping them with practical education in automotive maintenance and opportunities for employment through Hyundai Motor’s wide network. Outstanding students are given field training opportunities at Hyundai Motor’s service and dealership networks as well as industry placements and employment opportunities that ensue after graduation. The Centers also help the company secure a steady pool of automotive talent and improve the quality of local automotive maintenance services.

Caetano, a Portuguese Group, is the official dealer for Hyundai in Kenya, providing vehicles and after sales services to their customers in Kenya.
