The Nokia G21 – Great Phone For Virtual Meetings

Among the most notable effects that the pandemic has left in its wake is that the need for working digitally has spiked very noticeably. True, we have trooped back to the offices but a large population has embraced this shift and many will now never go back to offices.

With that, there is also the corresponding need for gadgets that can do the job. With people taking onto side hustles and even main jobs and executing exclusively on phone, having a good phone is therefore tied to the success or failure of a business. We want phones that are fast, and that stay on for long enough without battery failures. Phones that will effectively connect us to our colleagues as we execute meetings on Zoom, Google or Blue Jeans.

What are some of the features that the Nokia G21 and Nokia phones in general bring to make our virtual meetings seamless?

Camera

A good camera will always come in handy, be it for work or fun. It is the difference between being seen clearly by other people in a virtual meeting or being grainy and blurry. For the Nokia G21, the rear camera is an impressive 50MP with the support of 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. This is supported by additional features like HDR, panorama and LED flash. The selfie camera is 8MP.

The impressive combo of a 48MP quad camera and 8MP front camera allows you to take stunning photos and videos to share with work colleagues. These could be photos of products or snippets of documents. Capturing incredible detail at any time and in any place has never been easier – be it in the light, dark, at home or on the move.

The Nokia G21 camera comes bundled with other features to further customize user experience. For instance, it has professional colour grading which will make your videos almost cinematic. If for example your business runs an online store and rely on good photographs and videos to drive sales, this is a good camera to work with.

Sound

Sound is the most important part of a virtual meeting because what’s the point if you can’t be heard clearly and you can’t hear your colleagues clearly? The Nokia G21 comes with different options for sound, all of which are crystal clear. We have the phone’s loudspeakers, though of course there is the option of connecting to external sound through the 3.5mm jack or connecting to external sound via Bluetooth. I fall in this last category because I use Bluetooth headphones almost all the time. The sound on the phones loud speakers is decent and not scratchy at all, though I mostly use external sound out of habit.

Security

Leaders in offering the latest security patch updates and Android upgrades, Nokia smartphones have three years of security updates covered. This brings peace of mind to customers especially in these days that we are putting out more and more personal and business data through our phones. Security is particularly crucial because cyber criminals are becoming sharper and more organized by the day. Phone software that keeps up with security threats by issuing regular updates is a great companion for virtual work. The more people get digital, the more security is needed.
