The Infinix Note 30 Pro – High Feature Device At A Good Price

In the last few years, I’ve used a number of Infinix phones for review and one thing that I feel clearly is that the brand is moving rapidly up in terms of superiority of features. The last phone I interacted with was the Infinix Note 30 Pro, a mid-range device that has created a great balance between design, performance and price point. The Infnix Note 30 Pro is here to boost productivity and everyday convenience with features like improved charging system, powerful camera and great JBL sound and a sharp AMOLED display among other features which we’ll discuss in this article.

Design

The Infinix Note 30 Pro is undeniably stylish and comes in two colours – magic black and dazzling gold. The gold variation dances in the light to create different effects, and this gives the phone quite a unique appearance that stands out. At 1080*2400 resolution and 900nit, it has a bright and vivid colour representation which makes it a pleasure to use. Videos and games render particularly well, making it a great device for both work and entertainment. In terms of looks, this is a standout premium looking device that fits right into anyone’s life.

Battery

The Infinix Note 30 Pro comes with a 5000mAh battery. This is already impressive enough and adequate to last a full day without needing a recharge, but Infinix has gone further and equipped the charging system with additional features to ensure that users are well covered all round as far as powering on the phone is concerned. For instance, we are looking at a 68W wired charger that will deliver 80% charge in just half an hour. The phone also has 15W wireless charging, bypass charge, reverse charge, and AI smart charge. With all these features I don’t see anyone having any problems with a low charge phone.

Cameras

The device has a whopping 108MP camera supported by a 2MP Macro and 2MP depth sensor. The cameras also come with Quad-LED, HDR and panorama modes, as well as presets for enhanced photography. With automatic colour grading technology, the image quality is greatly enhanced when there is strong backlight or glare.

It is a powerful camera with fun features like dual view video where you can record your subjects with the rear camera and at the same time record your reactions with the front camera. The phone will then combine the two into one cool picture in picture video.

Another fun feature is Sky Remap with which you can easily change the appearance of the sky. Not even a gloomy day will dampen your photos since with this feature, you can create a whole different set of images.

The front camera is 32MP and it also comes with its own set of AI presets like style make up with which users can switch between makeup styes to find the best look before taking a selfie.

Gaming

Every user is in for a good time with this phone and gamers are in for a particularly good time with a set of features geared towards high performance.

With a 6.67” screen and a 1080X2400 resolution, this is a powerful combination that makes gaming a pleasant experience with enough real estate on the screen and crystal-clear graphics. This is coupled with with an impressive 8GM RAM. How cool is that? Good RAM is a game changer for gamers because more than anyone else, they need a fast phone with no glitches to ruin the game. The phone also comes with a high refresh rate. Add to that 256GB of internal storage and we have a winner. These features are not for gamers alone though. They all contribute to the good running of the phone for light users, heavy users, streaming, video shooting and editing, heavy browsing… this gadget will take it all and will switch between apps effortlessly. This is the kind of experience I’ve had with the Infinix Note 30 Pro and I love it.

Other features

The phone has a Mediatek MT8781 Helio G99 (6nm) processor for more power and more speed and runs on Android 13 and XOS 13. It also has unique features which users will get to learn with time.

Conclusion

This is certainly a phone to go for. Gone are the days people threw jibes at Infinix. The brand has hit back big in a good way and for Ksh.37,499/- for the Note 30 Pro, this is good value for money given that it packs some flagship features.
