Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) has announced the successful opening of seven new branches this quarter strategically located across Kenya as it intensifies its expansion drive in a bid to bring products and services closer to customers.
The seven branches, located in Gikomba, Eastleigh’s BBS Mall, Ongata Rongai, Karen Hardy, Kenol Murang’a, Kapsabet, and Bondeni, Mombasa, mark a pivotal moment in the bank’s commitment to expanding accessibility and providing personalised financial services across its core customer segments; small and medium enterprises and the retail sectors.
DTB Group CEO, Nasim Devji, emphasised the bank’s commitment to understanding and meeting the unique needs of the communities it serves: “Our expansion goes beyond geographical reach; it is about establishing a deeper connection with the customers we serve. Whether you’re a business owner in need of financial solutions, a farmer seeking agricultural financing, or an individual planning for your financial future, DTB is here to serve you.”
The new locations will offer extensive products and services to customers including personal and business accounts, loans, supply chain financing, mortgages, cards and investment options. Customers will also be able to access their accounts and perform banking transactions through the Bank’s digital channels, while visiting the branch locations for personalized service.
“We are aggressive in our branch expansion efforts, and by the end of December we will have opened 17 new branches in Kenya this year. Our commitment is to bring services closer to our customers, provide quality customer service, and enhance convenience.” Ms. Devji added.
As part of this expansion, the Bank has also relocated its branches at Westgate Mall to the second floor and at Lavington to the new Jahazi Mall to enhance customer experience.
Looking ahead, DTB is set to open three more branches before the end of the year at the Global Trade Centre (GTC) in Nairobi, Karatina, and Nanyuki, bringing the total number of branches to 84 in Kenya and 156 across East Africa. This expansion reinforces the bank’s dedication to reaching more communities and being a reliable financial partner for a growing customer base.
