Equity Bank has announced that it will discontinue its EazzyBanking App, which was its pioneer mobile banking application, first unveiled in 2016.

In a message sent to customers, the lender says that the application will be unavailable from March 15th, 2024, and urged its customers who are still using the application to migrate to the new Equity Mobile App.

Equity Mobile is designed to provide users with a modern and user-friendly experience. It also has advanced capabilities such as integration with international remittance platforms like PayPal & Western Union.

Customers can also schedule payments from the app, view account balances, save, transfer funds to other Equity Bank accounts regionally and internationally, facilitating regional and international trade, send money to mobile wallets, check Boostika and EazzyLoan limits, borrow, save, and make payments to the One Equity Till Number, among other functions.

The Equity Mobile App is accessible to both Android and iOS users.
