Unveiling the OPPO Reno 11F 5G: First Impressions And A Look at Design, Features, and Performance

A few weeks ago, OPPO finally unveiled the Reno 11F 5G as the Reno family continues to grow with launch after launch. As a fan of OPPO since I started engaging with the devise, a new launch is always exciting, and it helps that OPPO does not disappoint.

I’m using the OPPO Reno 11 F 5G and the first thing that struck me upon unboxing the phone when it arrived is the palm green colour that my piece came in. I like the direction that phone manufacturers are taking with phone colours, giving users choice and uniqueness. Like all other OPPO phones in the Reno Series, the Reno 11F 5G checks in with a sense of sleekness and one can immediately tell that it is a well build quality device.

What’s in the box?

In the box you’ll find of course the device, a beautiful solid phone that feels great on the hand. OPPO has also provided a custom-made protective back cover, PIN ejector, manufacturer literature and warranty, a USB cable and a 67W Super VOOC charging brick. All these come in the characteristic OPPO branding that tends to be attractive and minimalistic.

I’m a big fan of simplicity and OPPO always comes through with this. The back only features the camera casing and information and the OPPO branding. A back design that is not so busy gives the phone a chance to shine. I like that the camera casing is so minimal that the phone lies almost completely flat on the surface. With the protective case on, the bump is completely gone.

In terms of design which we shall look at more in-depth in our full review, OPPO has kept it simple and uncluttered. On the right side of the phone there is only the SIM tray, while the left features the power button and volume buttons. At the top we have only a mic and at the bottom of the phone there is the charging port, loudspeakers, and another mic.

I’ll be doing a full review but so far, there are some features that I’m already really loving, one of them being the 67W fast charge. Gone are the days when we used to charge phones for hours, since this one for instance will charge from 0-100 in just under an hour.

I also love the 64MP camera which will also record videos in 4K. This takes mobile photography to near professional levels, and I can’t wait to use it more.

Best of all, OPPO promises a long-lasting device. “Ready for years of use, Reno11 F 5G is quality tested to handle a staggering 100,000 volume key presses, 200,000 power button presses, and 20,000 instances of plugging in and taking out the USB-C cable. All this means you can be confident Reno11 F 5G won’t let you down” – OPPO.

This a well build device with great value for money. Keep it here for the full review.
