For any travel and sports enthusiast, a fully paid for trip to the Paris Olympics is quite the bingo card. Visa, the world’s leading payment platform, is making that happen. In a partnership with NCBA Bank for instance, three lucky card holders stand a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to Paris along with a plus one of their choice. This is a spend and win campaign in which all that participants need to do is use their NCBA Visa cards to make a payment of Ksh.3,000/- and above either online or at a POS. For each Kshs.3,000/-, shoppers earn one entry into the draw that could make one a winner.
What does the trip to Paris entail? Quite a list of good stuff which include two Olympic event tickets per person, accommodation for three nights for two with breakfast included, a metro card for the city of Paris for airport/train transfers and event venues, a 50 Euro Visa prepaid card, and a branded Paris 2024 gift. To facilitate winners to enjoy the city outside of the Olympics, Visa and NCBA are also including a Paris activity pass, in which users can choose between visiting monuments, museums, Paris landmarks, Seine River cruises and bike tours. The offer covers three activities per user.

In yet another partnership, Visa and Safaricom have teamed up to give four lucky Kenyans and their companions a chance to win a trip to go witness the Olympics firsthand, and support Team Kenya. To participate, one will only need to make a payment of Ksh.1,500/- via M-Pesa virtual Visa card to enter the draw. This is available on the M-Pesa App. To give winners the ultimate Paris Olympics experience, the trip package includes flights, accommodation, food, drinks and stadium tickets and other events.

Visa does not stop there. In other promotions, the payment platform already has a running campaign with Qatar Airways for card holders to get upto 12% discounts on flights. This campaign kicked off in April and will end in November 2024. The offer is available on the airline’s site and app and clients should use the promo code VISA.
For accommodation deals for card holders, Visa has teamed up with hotel booking giants Booking.com and Jumeira Hotels too, for offers not necessarily limited to the Olympics. With Booking.com, clients get upto 8% discounts when they pay with Visa and use the promo code VISABKNG while for Jumeria, discounts go upto 20% including breakfast. For those visiting Dubai, the offer comes with access to the magnificent Wild Wadi water park.
