Epson Employees Confident in Company Purpose, Prioritizing Inclusivity and Well-Being

Global technology company Epson says internal surveys conducted indicate 93% employees are confident in the company’s purpose and goals with 88% reporting a high sense of well-being.

Epson is expanding its reach and reinforcing its commitment to inclusivity, with nearly half of its leadership positions held by women.

The survey was conducted with over 320 professionals across the Middle East, Africa, and West Central Asia after Epson announced the designation of September as “Purpose Month,” a global initiative aimed at deepening the understanding and commitment to its Corporate Purpose.

This initiative is grounded in Epson’s philosophy of delivering efficient, compact, and precise innovations that enrich lives and contribute to a better world.

Epson Middle East President Neil Colquhoun, emphasized his commitment to Epson’s Purpose, stating, “My purpose at Epson is to collaborate with our talented regional team to redefine what a technology partner can mean for consumers, businesses, and the planet. By emphasizing our core values—Craft, Care, Creativity, and Collaboration—we are enhancing our established business model while fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.”

Colquhoun believes that organizational success hinges on individual contributions, stating, “Aligning with the Epson Purpose allows us to create value for our people, who in turn create value for our partners and society. My goal is to cultivate a culture where every employee finds a sense of purpose that aligns with our vision, embodying our commitment to enriching lives.”

Epson is also dedicated to making a societal impact by supporting initiatives aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG), particularly in education.

Colquhoun and his team have actively engaged with local schools to better understand their needs and provide resources that enhance learning experiences.

“Through all these efforts, I aspire to make a lasting and positive impression that enriches people’s lives—both within our organization and in the wider community,” said Colquhoun

Epson has invited employees, partners, and communities to engage in activities that highlight the significance of purpose in their work and lives, while striving to create a better world through meaningful innovation.
