Kenya Breweries Limited over the weekend delighted beer enthusiasts in Juja and Voi with a celebration of great beer and music, ushering in the festive season with Beer Fest.
At Traqo Lounge on Kenyatta Road, Juja, attendees were treated to a night of relaxed enjoyment with Mugithi’s finest.
First on stage was Gasheni who eased the revellers into the night with her soulful voice and tunes from her original songs and popular covers. Next up was DJ Dibul, an instant crowd favourite who took the stage to an excited crowd and delivered an outstanding set. Kareh B and her live band’s energy was a pleasant surprise for the night, adding oomph to the rather relaxed evening with an electric performance before headline act Salim Young took over and brought the night to a close. The night was hosted by a lively MC Karwimbo Mukurinu.
The Beer Fest in Juja delivered more than an exciting night of entertainment. Upon entry, attendees were ushered into an intricate brand world complete with a live shandy station where they got the chance to try a different way to enjoy their favourite beers with cocktail serves.
They also got to interact with the regally dressed Tusker brand ambassadors and take photos with them before being ushered to the merch station where they tested their knowledge on their favorite KBL beers for a chance to win exclusive Beer Fest merchandise.
Speaking at the event, Marketing Manager Tusker, Christine Kariuki said, “Beer Fest is our way of ushering in the Festive Season with unmatched energy and joy. While a great beer in hand sets the tone, it’s the collective energy and excitement that truly makes the experience unforgettable. We’re delighted to create these memorable moments, spreading festive cheer with our consumers. And the celebrations don’t stop here—there are even more Beer Fest experiences on the horizon! Stay tuned to our social media pages for the announcements.”
At Club Shallex in Voi revellers were treated to live performance by Otile Brown with DJ Grauchi, VJ Chris and B-Classic on the decks. The night was hosted by MC Mwashumbe.
The festive campaign by KBL includes amazing offers on their beers throughout the festive season, and in keeping with the festive spirit, KBL will be spreading the beer cheer across the country with more consumer experiences.
The experiences feature exciting entertainment line up and live performances by local talent. The entrance fee at the venues is 1,000 KES redeemable for KBL beers at the outlet.
