LG Electronics Lines Up New Consumer-Centered Innovations Offering Smart Life Solutions

LG Electronics has rolled out at least nine new cutting-edge innovative products set to enhance smart living for customers by bringing new possibilities and experiences to daily life.

The nine, unveiled and displayed at the IFA 2022, Berlin, which is Europe’s premier consumer electronics tradeshow include WashTower™ Compact laundry solutionEco-Conscious Bottom-Freezer refrigerator‘Table-Type’ Air Purifiernew UltraGear™ OLED gaming monitor which is LG’s first curved OLED display, LG’s 97-Inch G2 OLED Evo Gallery EditionStyler ShoeCase and ShoeCare, World’s First Bendable 42-Inch OLED TV, LG OLED FlexMoodUP™ refrigerator, and the Playmobil collectibles.

Speaking on the product rollouts, LG East Africa Managing Director Sa Nyoung Kim said, “the launch of these innovative products is part of our interest and in line with our vision to reimagine technology, rediscover lifestyles and redefine customer experiences by offering unique, new solutions and services designed to deliver unparalleled customer experiences even as we break new grounds in technology advancements”

In the spirit of reimagining customer experience, the said innovative products seek to boost efficiency and make work easier for users in the Kitchen, living room, bedroom, and at washing areas. The products can be controlled and monitored via LG’s ThinQ Mobile application.

For Instance, the WashTower™ Compact laundry solution is an integrated two-in-one WashTower that combines a separate washer and dryer, an all-in-one control panel and advanced AI in a single, space-efficient unit to deliver greater convenience. It is an ideal laundry solution for a one or two-member household, bringing better space efficiency to the home.

In the Kitchen, the Eco-Conscious Bottom-Freezer refrigerator offers a 10 per cent reduction in annual energy consumption compared to other LG refrigerator models with an A energy rating – helping consumers to shrink their household energy footprint and save on electricity bills. Designed with sustainability in mind, the refrigerator boasts energy-saving Inverter Linear Compressor™, an upgraded internal compartment and the company’s cutting-edge ‘freshness’ technologies, including LinearCooling™ and DoorCooling+™.

Ideal for users in smaller spaces such as studios, single bedrooms or study rooms, LGs ‘Table-Type’ Air Purifier dubbed PuriCare Objet Collection Aero Furniture, blurs the line between beautiful furniture and advanced air purifier, offering a design that can be tailored to meet individual preferences, 360-degree air purification and user-friendly features. Subtly positioned near the edge of the table-top, and flush with its surface, is a series of small indicators denoting Wi-Fi connectivity, air quality, air flow strength and upgrade status.

What’s more, the purifier presents an array of thoughtful features for a more personalized user experience. Users can conveniently charge their smartphones and wireless earbuds via the table-top’s built-in wireless charger2 and create a pleasing atmosphere with the mood lighting feature.

For Gamers, the new UltraGear™ OLED gaming monitor is aimed at offering immersive gaming experiences, visual performance, speed and features serious gamers demand. Besides, gamers can have a better experience with the LG OLED Flex which is perfectly designed for immersive console, PC and cloud gaming, and for enjoying live TV broadcasts and content streaming services. The LG OLED Flex ushers in a whole new era of screen customizability. The LX3’s remarkable display can go from completely flat to spectacularly curved (900R), letting users choose their ideal arc from twenty levels of curvature, for a truly personalized viewing experience.

Also displayed at IFA is the jaw-dropping LG’s 97-Inch G2 OLED Evo Gallery Edition. The world’s largest OLED TV, the 97-inch G2 model adds a whole new dimension to home entertainment with its self-lit OLED picture quality, advanced AI-based image-processing technologies and impressive scale.

Equipped With Company’s Renowned Clothing Care Technologies, LG further introduce an Innovative Shoe Management Experience, From Care to Storage dubbed the LG Styler ShoeCase and ShoeCare. The Shoe care creates the ideal environment for storing shoes by protecting against humidity and fabric-discolouring UV light, while the Styler ShoeCase represents a great way for shoe enthusiasts to show off their favourite pairs, offering interior features such as a 360-degree rotating turntable and a modular design that makes it possible to stack up to four cases on top of one another.

Finally, the MoodUP™ refrigerator comes equipped with LG’s advanced smart technologies for better food freshness and enhanced convenience. It also delivers a completely new kitchen experience, allowing users to choose a wide range of vibrant colours for its LED doors and play music via its built-in speaker as per their tastes and moods.

Unveiled under the Life-reimagined themed, the nine products follow an array of products unveiled early this year at the CES 2022 where LG showcased its vision for an enhanced lifestyle and a better future for all.
