Residents of Bungoma, Kakamega, Busia, Vihiga and Trans Nzoia counties will this December 31st be treated to a thrilling and electrifying Live Crossover concert at the inaugural Magharibi Festival to be held at the Tourists Hotel grounds, Bungoma Town.
The Burundian-born and Mapenzi hit maker Kidum with his amazing Boda Boda band will be the star attraction at the inaugural Magharibi Festival New Year concert. Other top artists from Mulembe Nation who will be on stage at the big bash include the Mbe Mukhasi hitmaker Steve Kay, The Vaida and confirm Hitmaker Harry Richie and the Takwei and Tina hitmaker Micah Wanyenje.

Magharibi Festival is a premier annual event of Western Kenya that sets out to celebrate the cultural diversity, talents, and beauty of Western Kenya.
The festival aims to showcase music, arts, sports and culture from Bungoma, Busia, Kakamega, Vihiga, Trans-Nzoia and parts of Uganda and Nyanza region.
“Western Kenya region is known for its beauty and cultural diversity. We want to use Magharibi Festival to promote and celebrate the cultural diversity, talents, and beauty of the region. The inaugural Magharibi festival in Bungoma is our first event. For the early birds, there are 50 tickets to be grabbed at ksh.1,000 and a group ticket, for 5 people at Ksh 6,000.
