OPPO finally launched the much-awaited OPPO Reno 10 Series which I had been using for a few days prior to launch. The first thing that struck me upon unboxing the phone when it arrived is just how sleek and stylish it is, just like all other phones in the series. My piece came in silver grey – an eye catching frosted matte which not only gives the phone a clean look, but also does not smudge finger print marks.
I’m a big fan of simplicity and the OPPO Reno 10 did not disappoint. The back only features the camera casing and a clear OPPO branding. The discreet in-screen scanner adds to the simplicity of the phone and this is more win for users who like uncluttered designs. The camera bump is a bit more noticeable than the Reno 8 5G which is my immediate former phone but that get significantly less when the protective casing is on.
What’s in the box?
In the box you’ll find the phone, a 67W charging brick, a USB cable, manufacturer literature, a SIM ejector tool and a custom made back protective cover. The phone does not come with earbuds or plugs but it has quite a decent stereo sound from the inbuilt speakers. I’m however using mine with the OPPO Enco Air buds.
I will be doing a comprehensive review after using the phone for some time and I’m excited about discovering more features and putting them to practice. I’m already so excited about the AI Portrait camera which OPPO promises to take photography to pro level. With a 64MP main camera, 32MP telephoto and 8MP ultrawide, it is clear to see the photo clarity and sharpness we can expect. I’m also quite pleased with the charging speed, the multitasking capabilities.
