Samsung Galaxy S25 Series First Impressions And Pre-Order

After much anticipation and excitement, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series is with us and Samsung did not disappoint user expectations of future proof innovations and next level AI.

I will be interacting with the device for a few weeks and will certainly do a comprehensive review but in the meantime, here are my thoughts on the devices based on my first impressions at launch.

The first feature that got me was the Camera, especially on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. When Samsung makes a 200MP Camera coupled with supporting features and AI, users are in for professional level photography and videography.

Samsung designs have always been sleek and elegant and for the S25 series, I was quick to note more ergonomic elements that make the phone a pleasure to handle and carry around. I’ll be going in-depth into this when I do the review article. I also really love the pastel colours that Samsung is embracing in the more recent launches. I was once a huge fan of the more girly colours like purple but I’ve since come to appreciate the class and sophistication of pastel.

Devices this powerful and functional need good powering and I was keen on the batteries which are not half bad. The S25 base packs 4,000mAH with 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, S25+ has 4,900mAh with 45W charging and 15W wireless charging while the best of them all, the S25 Ultra comes with 5,000mAh, 45W wired charging and 15W wireless. I’ll have a clearer position when I use the devices but I’ve used Samsung devices quite a bit in the past and I’m comfortable with the longevity and charging speeds.
